Lester G. Moyer got his picture in the paper once again. You remember Lester. He's the amateur meteorologist who twice correctly forecast wicked weather last February, along with "85% confidence" that a 42-inch dumping would clobber Berks this past March 7, when the temperatures climbed into the 40s.
Now, Lester gets credit for nailing another hot cold prediction.
As Dan Kelly writes:
Lester predicted, almost to the day, the foot of snow that fell most of Wednesday.
"Almost to the day." That is truly amazing. The seer only had a three-day window to call for snowflakes during the month of January. He must really shine predicting heat waves during July.
Lester says he begins plotting the next winter's weather in Februry, which means he'll soon know when the iceman cometh in 2012. Plan your winter accordingly.
