What is it that you hate the most about Mayor Tom McMahon's proposed 2012 budget?

Is it the whopping 20.4 percent hike in property taxes? Maybe it's the admission from Council President Vaughn Spencer that things shall not get better because heavy industry will never return to the city? Maybe it's the posturing by other council members that this all sucks but there's no alternative on the table that allows the city to comply with Act 47 restrictions?

Or how about the foreknowledge that property taxes will go up 666% in 2013 because the last 15 people living in the city with the ability to pay will move to Wyomissing?

These are grim days we're living in.
