Silly paper salutes late Oley super with a tee-hee

From the November 22 morning paper:
It's a face that could be recognized anywhere in the Oley Valley.
Looking dapper in a suit and tie, second-grader Jeffrey F. Zackon wears a serious expression beyond his young years.
He sits up straight at his desk, waiting for a photographer to snap a shot of the Oley Valley School District second-grade class in 1956-57.
Little did anyone know, the boy in the center of the photo would one day be Oley Valley's superintendent.
"I found the face of Dr. Jeff Zackon right in the middle of his class, looking the same as a second-grader as he did as Oley Valley superintendent," school board member John C. Bieber said recently.
"He looks exactly the same as a second-grade boy as he did as a man," Bieber added. "Right there in his suit and tie, ready for business. It's amazing."
From today's paper:
Ron Steffe knew as soon as he opened the Nov. 22 edition of the Reading Eagle.
"I actually saw a small part of it on the front page, and I looked at that and said: 'Uh oh. Something's wrong here.' "
The Oley Township resident was reacting to seeing a black-and-white photo of a second-grade class from Oley Valley in the 1956-57 school year.
Based on information supplied by school officials, one boy wearing a suit and tie in the photo was reported to be the late Dr. Jeffrey F. Zackon, longtime Oley Valley superintendent.
"I thought, 'That's my class,' " said Steffe, 62, a freelance outdoor writer. "I just knew Jeff wasn't in that class. Growing up, he was one of my friends and he was a year older than us."
