Cranky, old Mike Gravel aims to make a splash against Obama in 2012 primary

Mike Gravel, whose head often appeared ready to explode during the Democratic presidential debates in 2007-08, is mulling a primary challenge against Barack Obama in '12, according to an e-mail interview with The Daily Caller arranged by Gravel's daughter.

Gravel, who proudly said during the New Hampshire debate that he was proud he filed for bankruptcy because "I stuck the credit card companies with $90,000 worth of bills, and they deserved it," also joined the 9/11 conspiracy theorists by observing, "Individuals in and out of government may certainly have participated with the obviously known perpetrators of this dastardly act."
