Lady glad the guy is running a generator so she can watch her teevee

The lights are still out in thousands of households across the county. This is terrible news. Bloggers can't blog. The beer won't stay cold. There's nuthin' to do.

Luckily, a good Samaritan on Amity Street put his generator out on the sidewalk and is running extension cords to his neighbors' houses. Talk about a lifeline, a miracle of magnanimity, a portal to heaven.

Amanda Stroman summed it up perfectly:

I ain't running everything on that now but we got to watch TV.
