Crazies maul malls in search of the holy grail of LCDs

It's as much a holiday tradition as pumpkin pie and "Planes, Trains and Automobiles." After stuffing their fat faces with obscene amounts of dead bird, with all the trimmings, Americans continue their gluttony by mobbing shopping malls in search of plunder on Black Friday, which this year began before Labor Day.

But today's the official Black Friday, and already things turned ugly in Los Angeles, where a shopper pepper-sprayed competitors for a hot deal. What do you expect from a lady when a big-box store only stocks one 42-inch LCD TV for $6.99 in all of its outlets in the nation?
